Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or 2 years formal education or equivalent experience.
• Two years' work experience in customer service, healthcare or business-related field.

Responsibilities

• Greet and direct patients, families to testing and surgical areas in a courteous and welcoming manner.
• Register patients and verify all required information in the registration system expediently.
• Provide information to promote patient understanding of procedures and hospital environment; exchange information kindly.
• Maintain confidentiality of medical information; keep offices and work areas orderly and stocked.
• Monitor and respond to department communications (phone/email) daily; adjust information collection procedures as needed.
• Serve as a preceptor for new hires and provide required education.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the PAS leadership team.
