Job summary

Munson Healthcare is seeking a Patient Access Representative who will greet and direct patients and visitors in a courteous, welcoming manner. You will register patient information into the system and ensure accuracy for efficient check-in processes.

The role requires handling confidential medical information with discretion and daily communication via phone or email. You may act as a preceptor for new hires and perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or 2 years formal education or equivalent experience.
• Two years of work experience in customer service, healthcare or business-related field.

Responsibilities

• Greet and direct patients, families, and visitors in a courteous and welcoming manner.
• Register patients: obtain/verify required information for the registration system.
• Maintain confidentiality of medical information with a high degree of care.
• Access department communications daily via telephone and/or e-mail and adjust procedures as needed.
• Serve as a preceptor for new hires with required education for the position.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the PAS leadership team.
