Responsibilities include registering patients, updating demographics and insurance, and handling payments. A minimum of 1 year in healthcare and strong multitasking abilities are required; shifts are rotating with full-time status and weekend rotation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience within a healthcare setting or related field.
• Experience in patient registration and/or eligibility and benefits.
• Basic knowledge of government payer rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Register and pre-register patients as they arrive for appointments.
• Enter demographic, insurance, and patient notes accurately.
• Obtain signatures from patients at registration or arrival.
• Process, balance, and post daily patient payments.
• Verify and enter insurance information into the EHR system.
