Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months customer service experience required.
• Knowledge of computers and standard office equipment required.
• Typing speed of at least 35 words per minute required.
• Medical office experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED or completion of two years of college.

Responsibilities

• Register patients presenting to Freeman Health System.
• Conduct patient interviews to obtain registration information and complete forms.
• Obtain signatures and initiate financial counseling process.
• Collect monies owed and verify insurance at point of service.
• Calculate patient estimates and represent the system as the point of contact.
