Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital is seeking a Part-time Patient Access Registrar for the 3rd shift to support our Revenue Cycle processes in Cabarrus NC. The role includes registering patients, verifying insurance coverage, and collecting out-of-pocket expenses in a fast-paced health system environment.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma, at least 2 years in Patient Access or related experience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with 2 years of experience in either Patient Access or related roles such as billing, office support, or call center.
• Typing proficiency and basic data entry skills.
• Knowledge of insurance verification and patient registration processes is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Greet and assist patients and families in a welcoming, prompt manner per AIDET standards.
• Identify insurance coverage, benefits, patient out-of-pocket expenses, and collect co-insurance/co-pays.
• Verify eligibility and assist with pre-registration and registration using ADT systems.
