Job summary

The ideal candidate has 1-2 years of customer service and patient registration experience, hospital experience preferred, and proficiency in patient-facing interactions and documentation.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years customer service experience required.
• 1-2 years patient registration experience required.
• 1-2 years hospital experience or healthcare setting preferred.
• CHAA - Certified Healthcare Access Associate preferred

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and families, verify demographics and insurance information.
• Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments.
• Collect and document patient information and payments as applicable.
• Assist with insurance verification and eligibility checks.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with regulations.
• Cross-train in multiple Patient Access areas and onboard new staff.
