Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years Customer service experience required and 1-2 years Patient registration experience preferred and 1-2 years Hospital experience or healthcare setting preferred.
• CHAA - Certified Healthcare Access Associate certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and guests, verify demographics, and register them for services.
• Answer calls, schedule/confirm appointments, and collect patient information.
• Verify insurance eligibility and communicate payment options including co-pays and deductibles.
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality.
• Assist with encounters and ensure accurate data entry in the system.
