Qualifications

• Experience with patient registration, insurance verification and billing processes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients or representatives to obtain demographics, financial and insurance information.
• Enter patient information into the registration system and verify accuracy.
• Verify insurance benefits and coverage for inpatients and outpatients.
• Collect estimated self-pay balances and discuss financial policies with guarantors.
• Assist patients with directions and provide general hospital information.
