Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year in healthcare with patient access or similar experience.
• Knowledge of patient registration procedures and documentation.
• Knowledge of health insurance payers and real-time eligibility verifications.

Responsibilities

• Schedule appointments using multiple healthcare systems and process medical records.
• Resolve registration or insurance discrepancies and communicate financial responsibilities to patients.
• Provide clear estimates of liabilities and collect payments at the time of service.
• Answer inquiries, route calls, maintain a professional front-office environment, and participate in team huddles to meet productivity and quality benchmarks.
