CHI Health Good Samaritan is seeking a Patient Access Representative to be the first contact for patients, ensuring a respectful and efficient registration process. You will verify insurance, schedule appointments, and maintain accurate records in our electronic health system.

The role requires at least a high school diploma and about one year in healthcare or patient access, with strong data entry skills, familiarity with payers, and a commitment to HIPAA privacy and patient-centered service.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of relevant experience in healthcare/patient access preferred with knowledge of patient registration procedures and documentation, payer knowledge, and real-time insurance eligibility verifications.

Mansioni

• Register patients and schedule appointments using multiple healthcare systems.
• Process medical records and resolve registration or insurance discrepancies.
• Communicate financial responsibilities to patients and collect payments at time of service.
• Answer inquiries, route calls, and maintain a professional front-desk environment.
• Participate in daily huddles to ensure productivity and quality benchmarks.
