Job summary

Powers Health in Munster, IN, seeks a Supervisor, Engagement Center (Pre Reg and Insurance Authorization) to provide daily operational leadership for centralized scheduling, registration, insurance verification, and preauthorization. You will monitor performance, coach staff, and drive improvements to enhance access and patient flow.

A strong background in patient access and EHR systems (Epic preferred) with supervisory experience is required; bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of progressive experience in patient access, registration, centralized scheduling and/or hospital admissions.
• Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory/lead role in healthcare patient access or call center environments.
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance requirements and healthcare billing regulations.
• Experience with EHR systems and scheduling applications; Epic preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily operational leadership for the Engagement Center team overseeing scheduling, registration, insurance verification and preauthorization.
• Monitor productivity, quality, service levels and KPIs; coach staff and resolve escalated patient concerns; drive process improvements.
• Collaborate with clinical departments and revenue cycle leadership to promote a seamless patient experience.
