Job summary

CommonSpirit Health is seeking a Manager, Patient Access to oversee scheduling, insurance authorization, and referral services across facilities. You will lead staffing, training, and workflow optimization while ensuring data integrity and payer guideline adherence.

The role requires strong leadership and cross-department collaboration with HIM, PFS, IT, and payer partners. You will manage staffing, performance objectives, and supervise hiring, coaching, and mentoring.

Qualifications

• Masters-level education in healthcare or business administration.
• Experience leading healthcare administration initiatives.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and influence stakeholders.
• Experience with budgets and action-plan development.
• Strong interpersonal communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and refine patient access workflows to maximize efficiency.
• Implement best practices to reduce wait times and improve patient experience.
• Engage with administrative and physician stakeholders to educate and address issues.
• Develop patient journey maps and address challenges and gaps.
• Align scheduling management best practices and review schedules prospectively.
• Monitor wait lists, no-shows, and updated appointment management.
