Community First Medical Center is seeking a Patient Access Manager to oversee admission, outpatient registration, insurance verifications and central scheduling. The role plans departmental procedures, directs staff workflow, and ensures policies are understood and followed.

The manager directs daily operations, monitors productivity, and serves as a liaison to patients, families, physicians and other departments, fostering service excellence in a busy hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a healthcare field or related certification is preferred.
• Experience supervising staff in a healthcare setting is desirable.
• Demonstrates strong customer service orientation and detail focus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and healthcare information systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan and develop departmental procedures for Patient Access areas.
• Direct personnel workflow in emergency/admitting, outpatient registration, and central scheduling.
• Oversee daily operations and monitor productivity against standards.
• Serve as liaison to patients, families, physicians and other departments.
