Job summary

Westchester Medical Center Health Network is seeking a Manager, Patient Access to oversee the daily functions of pre-registration, insurance verification, scheduling, authorization and financial counseling for both inpatient and outpatient services.

This role focuses on policy implementation, staff development and process improvement to ensure high patient and physician satisfaction and smooth operation across facilities.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years supervisory experience in a hospital-based setting.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee insurance verification, authorization, scheduling, pre-registration and financial counseling.
• Lead non-clinical staff to maximize productivity and patient/physician satisfaction.
• Coach and develop direct reports and ensure on-site leadership.
• Drive process improvements and monitor key performance metrics.
• Coordinate staffing and hiring processes to support patient access operations.
