Patient Access Manager

• Full-time M-F, benefit eligible.
• Hourly wage $19.56 and up DOQ.
• Candidate review begins 9/16/2026, position open until filled.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check.

Position Summary

Under the general direction of the Chief Operations Officer, the Patient Access Manager oversees and coordinates the team responsible for incoming telephone calls, patient registration, arrival and check-out, patient appointment scheduling, ensuring excellent customer service and accuracy. This is a working supervisory position that is extremely detailed. Position will train and assist when needed with phone and front desk operations that include, patient registration, work queue management, and workflow development, collaborate with other departments to optimize front desk activities, and ensure standards are consistently upheld. The Patient Access Team Manager serves as a member of the management team and ensures quality standards are upheld. This position works closely with the Resource and Compliance Coordinator & CFO to develop workflows for training staff and maintaining accuracy.

Position Requirements:

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent required..
• Experience:
  • Two – five years prior experience supervising a mid-sized staff required.
  • Two-years highly responsible customer service or reception work experience required.
  • Prior healthcare experience preferred.
  • Prior experience with EPIC preferred.
