Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of patient service areas to meet standards and efficiency.
• Educate and update staff on role-relevant changes, policies, and procedures.
• Manage supplies by ordering within budget guidelines and needs.
• Assess staffing needs and coordinate with leadership; ensure policy compliance.
• Lead staff through training, orientation, and performance feedback.
• Create and adjust staff schedules for efficiency and throughput.
• Assist financial processes including collections, cash reconciliation, and deposits.
• Support HR functions such as interviewing and onboarding; address staff concerns.
• Ensure accurate patient registration and HIPAA compliance.
• Explain insurance responsibilities to patients and refer to Financial Advocates when needed.
• Maintain regulatory compliance with HIPAA, EMTALA, Medicare notices, and forms.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, greet patients, answer inquiries, schedule appointments.
