Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years’ experience in a medical office setting.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a supervisory or lead role preferred.
• Familiar with health insurance and the insurance verification process.
• Proficient with Windows-based productivity software (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Lead patient access team daily operations and drive performance accountability.
• Provide feedback on daily registration processes to leadership.
• Assist staffing, report reconciliation, and other duties as assigned.
• Maintain a pleasant, professional demeanor and welcome patients and staff.
• Verify benefits, check patients in and out, and collect copayments.
• Daily reconciliation of cash intake, credit card receipts, patient petty cash, and bank deposits.
• Train and mentor new Patient Access staff.
