Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• 1–2 years in clerical, customer service, or medical data reconciliation.
• Must have valid fingerprint clearance card or be able to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and register patients with excellent customer service.
• Obtain and validate demographics and insurance information.
• Verify insurance eligibility and payer information.
• Collect payments and monies owed when appropriate.
• Complete required paperwork for patient appointments.
• Process verifications for self-pay patients or unverifiable payers.
• Identify and resolve registration or account issues affecting billing.
• Collaborate with leadership to provide an efficient patient experience.
