Valley Health System is seeking a Patient Access Center associate to support inpatient, outpatient, same-day services, wound care, infusion, labor & delivery and emergency department operations. Responsibilities include reception, pre-registration, registration, admitting, and patient education.

The role requires strong communication, Excel-literate computer skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare setting with accuracy and empathy.

Qualifications

• Healthcare-related experience required.
• Computer experience and knowledge of Windows environment.
• Medical terminology preferred.
• Previous customer service experience required.
• Medical office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reception, pre-registration, registration, and cash collection.
• Admitting and patient/department support.
• Materials/inventory management and patient education.
• Unit-specific tasks across departments as needed.
