Valley Health System seeks an Access Navigator to be the main contact in a busy call center, helping patients and caregivers schedule appointments and coordinate referrals. The role supports access to services within VMG and The Valley Hospital, ensuring a seamless patient experience with empathy and efficiency.

Ideal candidates have healthcare exposure, strong communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Associates degree required; if no degree, 1 year in VMG office or 3 years scheduling experience.
• Healthcare experience with medical terminology and managed care preferred.
• Call center or patient service experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact in a high-volume call center.
• Assist with scheduling appointments and coordinating referrals.
• Facilitate access to Valley Health System services and ensure positive patient experience.
• Convert calls into appointments and act as liaison between providers, patients, and specialists.
