Valley Health System in Mahwah, NJ seeks an Access Navigator to serve as the primary contact in a high-volume call center, coordinating appointments, referrals and service access. You will act as a liaison among patients, referring providers and specialists to ensure continuity of care with empathy and efficiency.

The role requires an associates degree or equivalent healthcare office experience, strong communication and organizational skills, and a patient-focused approach.

Competenze

• Associates degree required.
• In lieu of degree, 1 year as a BA in VMG specialty office or 3 years in Valley scheduling position.
• Health care experience with medical terminology and managed care is preferred.
• Call center experience and 2–3 years of customer service is strongly preferred.

Mansioni

• Serve as primary point of contact in a high-volume call center for patients, referring physicians, caregivers and the community.
• Assist with scheduling appointments and coordinating referrals.
• Facilitate access to services within VMG and The Valley Hospital.
