Job summary

Ensemble Health Partners is seeking an entry-level Patient Access Specialist to join the Johnson City Medical Center team on site. You will perform admitting duties for all patients, verify insurance, collect information, and ensure regulatory compliance.

This role offers bonus incentives, paid certifications, tuition reimbursement, and comprehensive benefits, with CRCR certification required within six months. Previous customer service experience preferred; HS diploma required.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of customer service experience.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• CRCR certification required within 6 months of hire (company paid).

Responsibilities

• Perform admitting duties for all patients admitted for services at the hospital.
• Assign accurate MRNs and complete medical necessity / compliance checks.
• Explain and distribute patient education documents and obtain signatures.
• Review eligibility responses and enter benefit data to POS and billing processes.
• Screen medical necessity using ABN software to inform Medicare patients.
