Job summary

Ensemble Health Partners is seeking an Entry-level Patient Access Specialist for an on-site role in Atlanta, GA. The position focuses on admitting duties, accurate MRN assignment, insurance collection, and patient education to ensure compliant and smooth hospital workflows.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of customer service experience and a High School Diploma or GED. A CRCR certification is required within 6 months of hire and will be company-paid.

Responsibilities

• Perform admitting duties for all patients admitted for services at the hospital.
• Meet mission and goals of the organization and comply with regulatory requirements.
• Work within policies and processes across the organization.
• Accurately assign MRNs and complete medical necessity checks.
• Collect insurance information and process physician orders.
• Explain consent forms and distribute educational documents.
• Verify insurance eligibility and support POS/billing processes.
• Screen medical necessity using ABN software and distribute forms as needed.
