Wilson Health in Sidney, Ohio is seeking a Patient Access Manager to oversee hospital registration, scheduling, insurance verification, and prior authorizations. This full-time role reports to the Director of Patient Access and ensures a welcoming, efficient front-end experience from registration to care initiation.

The position requires leadership of Patient Access staff across shifts and collaboration with Revenue Cycle to improve performance.

Qualifications

• Must maintain schedule flexibility to support a 24/7 operation.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience required.
• Strong understanding of insurance eligibility, benefits, referrals, and authorization processes.
• Excellent communication, organization, problem-solving, and customer service skills.

Responsabilités

• Oversee daily hospital registration activities for inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and ancillary services.
• Ensure accurate capture of patient demographics, insurance, guarantor, and financial information.
• Establish procedures promoting accuracy, efficiency, privacy, and service quality.
• Monitor registration quality and reduce errors, duplicate accounts, and incomplete data.
• Manage scheduling processes for hospital services and procedures.
• Oversee insurance eligibility verification and prior authorizations.
• Lead, train, and schedule Patient Access staff for 24/7 operations.
• Collaborate with billing and clinical teams to improve front-end revenue cycle.
