Wilson Health is hiring a Patient Access Manager for our Sidney, Ohio hospital campus. You will oversee registration, scheduling, insurance verification, and prior authorizations, while leading a 24/7 Patient Access team.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and a commitment to accurate, patient-centered front-end revenue cycle activities, in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to supervise and lead a 24/7 Patient Access team.
• Strong customer service and communication skills are essential.
• Experience with registration, scheduling, insurance verification, and prior authorizations is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily registration for inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and ancillary services.
• Manage scheduling for hospital services and provider availability.
• Oversee eligibility verification, referrals, and pre-authorizations prior to services.
• Monitor front-end revenue cycle performance and address denials or delays.
• Lead, train, and schedule Patient Access staff for 24/7 operations.
• Ensure HIPAA, EMTALA, and payer policy compliance.
