Job summary

Summa Health Connect position in Cleveland, OH seeks an associate for full‑time hours 1:30pm–10:00pm to assist callers and patients with scheduling, registration, insurance verification, and referrals. You will deliver outstanding customer service and respond to questions to uphold Summa Health's care standards.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and 1 year of customer service or office support experience; knowledge of medical terminology and typing tests are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Post high school coursework in healthcare, accounting, business, PR or related field.
• One year customer service or general office support experience.
• Experience in Registration, Insurance Verification/Pre-Certification, Financial counseling, Patient Accounts a plus.
• Ability to pass typing test (25 WPM) and medical terminology exam.

Responsibilities

• Assist callers and patients with way-finding, scheduling, registration, insurance verification, co-pay collection and referrals.
• Provide high level of customer service to create a positive impression of Summa Health.
• Answer patient information questions and handle general inquiries.
• Support registration and access operations and document accurately.
