Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of insurance verification processes and healthcare regulations.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills; ability to foster a collaborative team.
• Proficient in EHR systems and patient access software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the Patient Access team, including hiring, training, and evaluating staff performance.
• Oversee registration and scheduling processes, ensuring timely and accurate collection of patient information.
• Ensure compliance with insurance verification procedures, addressing issues with providers or patients.
• Collaborate with clinical departments to streamline patient flow and improve operational efficiency.
• Monitor KPIs, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies for continuous enhancement.
• Develop and maintain policies and procedures related to patient access operations.
• Address patient inquiries and concerns, ensuring high levels of customer service.
• Prepare reports for senior management on patient access activities, performance, and trends.
