• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and patient access software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Patient Access department operations, including staffing, training, and performance evaluations.
• Manage registration and scheduling processes, ensuring accurate collection of patient information.
• Ensure compliance with insurance verification procedures and coordinate with insurers and patients as needed.
• Collaborate with clinical departments to streamline patient flow and improve operational efficiency.
• Monitor performance metrics and implement continuous improvement strategies.
• Develop and maintain policies and procedures for patient access operations.
• Address and resolve patient inquiries and concerns, ensuring high customer service levels.
• Prepare reports for senior management on patient access activities, performance, and trends.
