Job summary

Memorial Health is hiring an on-site Patient Access Team Lead in Illinois to guide daily operations, coordinate staffing, and support patient flow. The role acts as a resource when supervisors are away, ensuring efficient registration and revenue cycle processes.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in patient access or related roles and at least 1 year of leadership experience, with strong communication and customer service skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EHR systems is preferred.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience as Patient Access Associate/ Specialist or related role in healthcare registration, insurance, revenue cycle, or clinical office.
• Minimum one year of leadership/supervisory experience in a Patient Access department.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations and coordinate staff within the assigned area.
• Assist with scheduling and staffing to meet patient volumes and maintain efficiency.
• Ensure excellent patient service and adherence to departmental workflows.
• Provide guidance and training to staff, and cover supervision in absence of Manager.
