Job summary

Under the Patient Access Manager, you will lead staff, coordinate training, manage staffing levels, review timecards, and drive process improvements to meet department goals.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required.
• Experience in patient access.

Responsibilities

• Assist managers with HR functions including screening, scheduling and evaluating staff.
• Provides departmental leadership, communication, planning and problem-solving for Patient Access and Revenue Cycle processes.
• Oversee day-to-day workflow of the office including staffing needs and supervision/training of staff in customer relations and procedures.
• Ensure operations run efficiently by streamlining processes and managing workload.
• Ensure staff follow established processes for comprehensive and accurate job duties.
• Identify process improvements and implement changes.
• Coordinate staff meetings and huddles for assigned campus/registration hubs.
• Hire, interview, and select staff for assigned areas; monitor productivity and errors.
• Monitor daily activity and adjust staff responsibilities to meet department goals.
• Develop training programs for new and existing staff.
