Mercyhealth is seeking a Healthcare Revenue Cycle Supervisor to lead patient access operations in Illinois. The role emphasizes staffing to budget, training and evaluating staff, and maintaining accurate attendance and timecard records.

Responsibilities include optimizing registration, scheduling, and insurance verification workflows, ensuring compliance with policies, and driving productivity with data-driven oversight. A strong background in revenue cycle processes is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong typing/data entry experience.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, accuracy and follow-through.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee staffing to meet budgeted levels and adjust staffing patterns as needed.
• Review and process timecards and maintain attendance files.
• Interview, hire, and orient new staff; provide training and competency checks.
• Supervise partners and ensure equitable workload distribution.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback and coaching.
• Monitor productivity via reports and dashboards for the department.
• Ensure accurate patient registration, scheduling, insurance verification and claims processing.
• Coordinate with other departments to maximize reimbursement and compliance.
• Provide education on financial policies and assist with implementation of upgrades and usability testing.
