Job summary

Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago, IL is seeking a Lead Patient Access Associate to oversee patient flow, ensure accurate registrations, and maximize Point of Service collections. You will coordinate break coverage, support staff, and model exemplary customer service across the department.

The role requires strong leadership, CHAA (preferred), attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure during busy periods within the Therapy department.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• CHAA certification preferred.
• Exceptional interpersonal & organizational skills.
• Demonstrated leadership and management abilities.
• Extremely high degree of attention to detail.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize.
• Good analytical & problem solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple demands and function well under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead associate ensures smooth patient flow and quality registration.
• Maximize Point of Service patient collections and outstanding customer service.
• Coordinate break and lunch times to ensure coverage needs are met.
• Assist Supervisor in managing volume fluctuations and staffing.
• Serve as a resource on policies and procedures within the department.
• Lead by example in customer service and professional conduct.
