Qualifications

• Post secondary education in healthcare administration preferred.
• 2–4 years of healthcare experience including patient registration or front desk.
• 2–4 years of customer service experience required.
• Previous team lead or supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the registration team to ensure accurate workflow and policy adherence.
• Verify patient demographics and insurance information with courtesy.
• Ensure accurate data entry into the registration system and obtain consents.
• Review insurance eligibility responses and capture service-specific details.
• Audit registration and admission records for accuracy and correct errors.
• Provide on-the-job training and coaching to registrars.
• Collect patient payments and counsel self-pay patients on options.
• Escalate complex issues to management or corporate teams as needed.
• Support reporting and special projects related to registration.
