The Medical University of South Carolina seeks a Patient Access Services Supervisor to oversee the daily registration and scheduling staff, ensuring top-notch customer service while preparing patient accounts for billing to maximize payments for MUSP and MUHA services.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent), with several years of related customer service and supervisory experience, and a focus on effective communication with patients, families, physicians, and payers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university; or an Associate degree with related customer service experience; or a high school diploma/GED with related customer service experience.
• Prior supervisory experience is beneficial.
• Excellent communication skills required; ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, employers and third-party payers.

Responsabilités

• Directly supervise daily registration and scheduling functions.
• Monitor performance to increase patient satisfaction and efficiency.
• Verify and prepare all patient accounts for billing to maximize payment for MUSP and MUHA services.
