Children's Wisconsin is seeking a Patient Access Lead to support team operations and patient registration across multiple sites in Wisconsin. You’ll act as a go-to resource for Patient Access Representatives, helping ensure smooth daily operations, accurate registrations, and a positive patient and family experience.

The role emphasizes leadership, problem-solving, and process improvements to enhance patient care and staff collaboration.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• 2–3+ years in Patient Access or healthcare setting is required.
• Experience with Epic or similar EHR systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily staffing and scheduling to ensure smooth department coverage.
• Support leadership with data tracking, reporting, and process improvements.
• Welcome and assist patients and families with professionalism and care; guide them through registration.
• Collect and enter accurate patient demographic and insurance information; verify details to prevent errors.
• Support onboarding and training of new team members and mentor staff.
