Job summary

New Season is seeking a Patient Registration Coordinator to join our Clinic team. The role involves greeting and registering patients, scheduling appointments, collecting co-pays, and verifying insurance, all while maintaining accurate records and confidentiality.

You will work with Program Director and clinical staff to ensure smooth check-in and patient flow, using EHR systems and adhering to standard healthcare operations and policies.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1 year receptionist and cashier or related experience.
• Minimum 1 year healthcare experience.
• Strong customer service background; knowledge of electronic health records and medical insurance.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Complete pre-registration for all new clients and schedule appointments.
• Greet and assist patients; orient new patients to the center.
• Collect co-pays and patient financial responsibility at the time of service.
• Verify insurance benefits and obtain prior authorization as necessary.
• Maintain accurate demographics, billing, and clinical information in the registration system.
• Maintain confidentiality and coordinate with Clinic Operations Team.
• Answer phones, check/deliver mail, and manage supplies.
• Adhere to CMG/New Seasons policies and procedures.
