Job summary

Women’s Care is seeking a Patient Access Representative to be the first contact for patients, handling registration, billing questions, and appointment scheduling. The role requires exceptional customer service, organizational skills, and strong communication to ensure a smooth patient experience.

You will greet patients, collect demographics, verify insurance, and guide them through payments and registration, while maintaining HIPAA compliance and contributing to a welcoming front-office

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong customer service experience with a positive patient experience.
• Proficient in organizing, multi-tasking, and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in a prompt, courteous manner.
• Collect patient demographics and update profile; ensure accurate scheduling and billing.
• Collect payments and assist with billing inquiries; explain policies.
• Scan insurance cards and IDs into the EMR system (HIPAA compliant).
• Set up payment plans per policy; answer questions about financial policies.
