Job summary

Qualifications

• One year of customer service experience or successful completion of internship at San Ysidro Health.
• High School or GED equivalent.
• Verbal and written communication skills required.
• Experience with Epic EMR or similar system is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Answer telephones and greet visitors.
• Register new patients and verify insurance information.
• Enter patient demographics into Epic EMR.
• Assist with funding eligibility and collect co-pays/deductibles.
• Research and resolve customer inquiries related to patient access.
