San Ysidro Health is seeking a front desk patient services representative to greet visitors, register new patients, and assist with funding eligibility and insurance verification. You will enter patient demographics into the Epic system, collect co-pays, and coordinate referrals to support timely access to care.
The role requires at least one year in customer service, preferably in a medical setting, and bilingual Spanish-English abilities.
Answer telephones, greets, assists and directs visitors, patients and other clinic office callers. Guides, screens and registers new patients. Assists patients in obtaining services and provides information on funding eligibility and inquiries related to patient access processes, policies, and/or other related information; researches and resolves customer problems. Performs clerical duties to support the daily business activities of the location.
Pre-employment requirements include I-9, physical, positive background and reference check results, complete application, new hire orientation, pre-employment PPDs. Compliance with all mandated vaccinations and all boosters is a term and condition of employment.
