Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Registers/checks-in patients with data entry and intake forms
• Verifies insurance eligibility and pre-certifications; assists with referrals and authorizations
• Collects patient liability and explains financial policies and payment options
• Enters payments and reconciles daily transactions; balances cash drawer
• Schedules appointments and coordinates with payor plan provisions; confirms next-day visits
• Communicates with patients and care teams via phone, email, and in person
• Handles requests for medical records per policies and laws
• Provides patient services to support flow, including escorting patients and taking vitals
• Maintains independent work routine in a fast-paced environment
