Responsibilities

• Register and check-in patients, collect demographics and insurance information.
• Verify insurance eligibility and obtain pre-certifications, referrals, and authorizations as needed.
• Explain financial policies and assist with payment arrangements.
• Enter payments/charges and reconcile daily activity; balance cash drawer.
• Schedule appointments and manage patient flow per payor guidelines.
• Provide responsive customer service via phone, email, and in person.
• Assist with medical records requests and basic patient services as required.
