Job summary

Gastro Health is seeking a Front Desk Representative to warmly greet patients, schedule appointments, and support physicians and care center providers in a busy Chelmsford, MA office. You will manage check-in/out, verify insurance, and keep patient records accurate and organized.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years' experience in a medical setting, strong data entry skills, and a customer-first approach. This role requires good communication and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in medical practice or a similar setting.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients in a pleasant and timely manner.
• Utilize practice management system to create provider records and manage patient documents.
• Verify registration forms and obtain referring/primary physician information.
• Ensure current referrals are on file and verify insurance benefits.
• Collect co-pays and other balances, post payments, and balance the batch daily.
• Maintain lobby/reception area and assist with questions as needed.
