BHMG Behavioral Health is seeking a Patient Access representative to perform front desk duties at the point of service areas. Responsibilities include greeting patients, verifying demographics and insurance, registering patients, obtaining signatures, handling payments, scheduling, and managing medical records to ensure smooth patient flow.

The role emphasizes customer service, clerical accuracy, fiduciary responsibility, and compliance in a medical office setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Computer skills required.
• Clerical experience in the medical office setting preferred.
• Other education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greeting patients and visitors.
• Verifying patients' demographic and insurance information.
• Registering patients.
• Obtaining necessary signatures.
• Determining patients' out-of-pocket expense, collecting and documenting patient payments and/or financial counseling as appropriate.
• Scheduling appointments.
• Ensuring patient flow.
