BHMG Physical Therapy Charlestown, IN is seeking a Patient Access Coordinator to manage scheduling, reminders, greet and register patients, verify demographics and insurance, and collect co-pays. This role supports clerical tasks, relays messages, handles deposits, and maintains supplies. It serves patients across age groups and prepares treatment areas as needed.

The position is PRN with preference for prior medical office experience; familiarity with medical terminology is a plus.

Competenze

High school diploma or equivalent.
Computer skills required; medical terminology skills preferred.
Prior medical office experience preferred.

Mansioni

Makes patient appointments and reminder calls.
Greets and registers all patients. Verifies demographic and insurance information and enters into appropriate system.
Collects co-pays and other payments and prepares daily deposit & reconciliation report.
Receives and relays phone messages to and from providers and logs them appropriately.
Provides clerical/secretarial support: typing correspondence, sorting/delivering mail, processing faxes, ordering supplies.
Prepares patient and/or treatment area for treatment and maintains department order.
Meets needs of patients with impairments; provides care across age groups from adolescent to geriatric.
