Job summary

Hanger is seeking a front desk receptionist to ensure a seamless patient experience. You will greet patients, verify demographics and insurance, handle payments, and schedule follow-ups at the Cedar Rapids clinic.

The role emphasizes strong communication, computer proficiency, and ability to assist with administrative tasks in a medical front office setting. Prior reception experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Talent Sorter assessment may be used in selection.
• Less than one year of customer service or related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients at the front desk and direct them appropriately.
• Verify and update patient demographics and insurance at check-in; handle walk-ins.
• Collect patient payments including deductibles, copays, and coinsurance.
• Coordinate follow-up appointments, cast/measure, delivery, and prosthetic care plans.
• Serve as liaison for clinic services and patient experience programs.
• Assist Revenue Cycle Management with obtaining patient information.
• Maintain accurate electronic health records for patients.
