Job summary

AdventHealth Hendersonville seeks a PRN Patient Access Associate. You will perform Medicare reviews, estimate patient financial responsibility, verify benefits, and obtain pre-authorizations to ensure timely care. You will register patients, collect demographics, maintain accurate records, and coordinate with clinical and billing teams to improve the patient experience.

Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred to assist diverse patients in a community-based setting.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred; high school diploma required.
• Experience in customer service or healthcare revenue cycle is expected.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred to assist diverse patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform Medicare reviews and issue ANOC as needed.
• Estimate patient financial responsibility and collect or set up payment plans.
• Verify insurance benefits and obtain pre-authorizations.
• Register patients and collect demographics with accuracy.
• Provide excellent customer service and document payer communications.
• Coordinate with clinical and billing teams to improve the patient experience.
