AdventHealth in Port Charlotte, FL seeks a patient access/financial specialist to perform Medicare compliance reviews and estimate patient financial responsibility. You will coordinate pre-authorizations, register patients, and ensure accurate insurance details, while delivering exceptional customer service in a high-volume environment.

The role supports billing operations, cashiering, and communication across departments to improve the patient experience.

Competenze

• Experience in customer service in healthcare preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Familiarity with privacy rules such as HIPAA.

Mansioni

• Performs Medicare compliance reviews and issues Advance Beneficiary Notices of Noncoverage as needed.
• Creates accurate estimates for patient financial responsibility and collects payments or establishes payment plans.
• Coordinates with utilization management for pre-authorization issues and provides necessary information to patients.
