Job summary

Women’s Care in the United States is seeking a Patient Access Representative to be the first point of contact for patients, collecting demographics, confirming insurance and facilitating scheduling and billing.

The role requires a high school diploma, excellent customer service, and strong communication skills; experience in a medical office or with EMR systems is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent customer service experience required.
• Preferably one year of experience in a medical office.
• Familiarity with eCW or other EMR systems is a plus.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and update demographics and profiles.
• Collect payment and assist with billing questions.
• Answer high volume calls and respond to emails promptly.
• Verify insurance eligibility and registrations when needed.
• Schedule and reschedule appointments; ensure check-out in EMR.
• Maintain lobby area and comply with HIPAA rules.
