Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Basic computer proficiency and the ability to learn new technology and systems.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in person and over the phone.
• Register new patients and update demographic, insurance, and billing information.
• Verify insurance eligibility and collect copays, deductibles, and payments.
• Facilitate patient flow by notifying clinical staff of arrivals and delays.
• Answer phones and route calls as needed.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
• Perform clerical tasks including copying, scanning, faxing, and filing.
• Maintain waiting areas and front desk spaces in a clean, organized condition.
• Assist with supply management and stocking.
• Attend staff meetings and required training sessions; adhere to policies.
