Athletico Physical Therapy in Lincoln, NE is hiring a Patient Experience Coordinator to deliver a seamless front-office experience, handle patient intake, verify insurance, and support revenue cycle performance.

This role reports to the Clinic Manager and works closely with clinical teams, PES, and billing to maintain data integrity, educate patients on financial responsibilities, and ensure a compliant, patient‑friendly environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong customer service skills and excellent communication.
• Experience with MS Office, Outlook and Excel.
• Knowledge of healthcare insurance benefits and coverage preferred.
• Experience with requesting and managing customer payments preferred.
• 1-2 years of customer service experience required.
• 1-2 years of healthcare administration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and deliver an exceptional front-office experience.
• Complete patient intake and registration with accuracy.
• Educate patients on financial responsibilities and payments.
• Collect time-of-service payments and meet collection targets.
• Manage clinic scheduling workflows and optimize provider availability.
• Collaborate with PES, Billing, and Clinical Operations to resolve issues.
• Utilize EMR systems and dashboards to track outcomes.
• Coordinate communication of patient progress notes and care plans.
